2012 WINTER SOFTBALL TRAINING
For players who want to get an even bigger head start on the season, there are even more winter clinics available. Beginning on Sunday, January 29th, we will be offering "total game development" for softball through the Baseball Consultants in Medfield (
http://www.thebaseballconsultant.com/). The focus will be on pitching, hitting, throwing mechanics, fielding techniques, and game simulation which will be part of each session. There will be multiple coaches for our players to learn from, led by Steph Martin. Steph's background includes:
Assumption College - 1996-2000 where she was the 4 time Northeast Ten League All Star, 3 Time All New England, Division II All American, Career Batting Avg. - .430, Female Athlete of the Year, and Inducted into the Assumption College Hall of Fame. She is currently the Junior Varsity Softball Coach at Wakefield High School.
Beginning the week of January 29th, we will be holding two sessions per week - one session on Sunday's and one session on Wednesday's. The sessions are $40/month for once a week or $80/month for twice a week. Depending on your schedule you can attend one or both sessions per week. Each session will be run for an hour per age group so the sessions are as follows:
Sunday 3:00 - 4:00 3rd and 4th grade
4:00 - 5:00 5th and 6th grade
5:00 - 6:00 7th and 8th grade
Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30 3rd and 4th grade
5:30 - 6:30 5th and 6th grade
7:30 - 8:30 7th and 8th grade
